The Nakuru Endelevu Trust Initiative (NETI) is an umbrella organization of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Nakuru County.  NETI is structured as a membership–based Local Development Organisation and is community-owned, community-led, and community-managed. NETI was therefore established and registered as a public Trust to ensure that their collective voice, concerns, and solutions are articulated by engaging state and non-state actors.

 NETI affirms and commits to the principles and values of inclusivity, public participation, and gender equity while embracing the youth, people with disabilities, and grass root-based community organizations.

Our Mandate

NETI’s core mandate is to effectively represent the voice of the civil society sector in Nakuru County and to foster and promote all-inclusive development in Nakuru county.

Our Objectives

  • To provide a platform for CSO’s to come together for the development of Nakuru County

  • Capacity enhancement and organisation development support for Member CSOs

  • Depository of research data and information relevant to the CSO sector

  • Custodian and steward of a basked fund targeting member priority sectors such as Agriculture, Environment and climate change, water, gender, youth & PWD, Health, Small Micro Enterprise Development, Education, Democracy, and Governance among others.

  • Represent and be the voice of the CSOs in Nakuru

Our Members

NETI has a membership of three hundred and seventy-nine (379) Civil Society Organizations including Self Help Group, NGOs, Cooperatives, Unions, business entities, Trusts and CBOs among others. NETI member program activities are focused on Justice and Good Governance, Environment and Climate Change, Health, Education, Gender Inclusion, Children rights, Agriculture, Water and Sanitation, Peace and Security, Population Dynamics, Capacity Development, Counselling, Small Micro enterprise development and Disability among other issues affecting Nakuru County.

NETI is open and is seeking to partner and collaborate with state and non–state actors in the design of activities and programs that would contribute to the development and transformation of Nakuru County.
